Although we feel at home almost everywhere, it is special to go back to the Wajana villages. Tuesday we fly out to Apetina after we landed last Thursday in Paramaribo. We visited family, friends, sponsors and churches. It was a great time of sharing about the great work that God has been doing in the past months.

Our fosterdaughter, her husband and one year old son are flying out with us into the bush. The past few days we showed them around in Paramaribo. Last Sunday we went to Commewijne, to Alkmaar to celebrate the fact that in 1916 childrenshome Sukh Dhaam was founded. We had a great time! In the nineties Danish friends of us worked there and their daughter was over for the celebration with three friends. They will also fly out to Apetina, to visit the Wajana’s for a couple of days.

Monday was preparation day: shopping, packing and weighing the amount of kilo’s. For us a routine after more than four years, for our guests it is all new. It is fun to experience it from their perspective, it makes our life with the Wajana’s even more special.

Tuesday we fly out with MAF in two airplanes, the Cessna and the Airvan. We feel so blessed with their service to us!
