The last few weeks a lot has happened. First we had an outreach to Kayode, followed by preparations for the coming Youthweek. Last weekend we visited Solonam Pata.

Meeting Tukusipan Kayode

Meeting Tukusipan Kayode

The days in Kayode were very nice, many people joined the meetings in the tukusipan. Both evenings we showed a part of the movie about the life of King David. We met new people, especially those that were set free from bondage of evil spirits the last few weeks. We were blessed with many believers from Lawa and other villages who came over to Kayode. A warm encouragement for the believers there.

Last weekend we visited Solonam Pata. Also here a large group attended the meetings. Fridaynight a movie about revival among the Natives in Canada, called Transformation was shown. Marco could connect to this movie in his message Saturday morning. We enjoy to see a number of signals in Solonam Pata that show the Lord is building His church.

We are pleased to see that the system to visit the different villages along the river is back in place. Because of all the business connected to the deliverance ministry the last few months, this was put on hold. Now we have a schedule again to visit the villages on a monthly basis until the end of this year.

At Lawa we had a number of meetings with the youth leaders preparing the Youthevent of next week. We worked on a daily schedule: Monday – Saturday, 9-12 am a programme with Bible study and teaching, 12 lunch, 3-6 pm sport and 7 pm praise night and movie night (in turn).
We produced some posters that were presented in different villages. We look forward to see how many youth will come over to Lawa for this event.

Together with the Board of the church we have been planning to have a canoe filled with building materials be brought up the river from Albina. The people are happy with the building activities to expand the church. They see that God is providing the funds needed for such a huge project and praise Him.
After the week with the youth we will have a home sale with second hand clothes from the Netherlands. We agreed to raise the prices a bit in order to have some local fundraising for the churchbuilding.

We also dicided to send out two elders couples to Apetina again (like we did last year). We hear that there is again a great need to reach out to the church of Apetina. Last year the outreach was a succes. We now are able to combine some flights with MAF from the city in such a way that we can do this without too many extra expenses.

We would love to see this kind of ministry develop more. That local leaders are able to reach out to one another connecting and deepening their church relations and their faith and daily walk in Christ.
